Hi creative friends,
As we bid farewell to 2023, it’s time to reflect on a transformative journey that has spanned the entire year… a journey of self-love, self-care, and intentional well-being.
At Shabby Art Boutique, my commitment to fostering a community of self-love enthusiasts has manifested through a yearlong project: A Year of Self-Love.
Each month, I’ve been delighted to share a free printable self-love card, a small but powerful token designed to serve as a gentle reminder to prioritize self-care.
Embracing the Journey:
Throughout the past year, we’ve embarked on a journey of self-discovery, self-appreciation, and self-nurturing.
Each month’s unique self-love card has been a testament to the diverse ways we can cultivate a positive and compassionate relationship with ourselves.
From affirmations to mindful practices, we’ve explored the multifaceted landscape of self-love, recognizing that it is not a destination but a continuous, evolving process.
December Printable Self-Love Card
The postcards are standard size, 9 cm x 14 cm (3.5″ x 5.5″), and can be used back to back to create a double sided postcard or alternatively used as two separate journal cards.
Note: Instructions on how to create the double sided card is included on the free printable.
The December Postcard: “I welcome self-love to my life now!”
As we unwrap the final self-love card of 2023, I’ve chosen a powerful affirmation that serves as both a conclusion to our yearlong project and a commencement of a new chapter in self-love.
“I welcome self-love to my life now!” carries a profound message… a call to open our hearts and minds to the abundant, unconditional love we can offer ourselves.
Practical Tips for Embracing Self-Love:
- Daily Affirmations: Incorporate positive affirmations into your daily routine. Start each day by affirming your worth, beauty, and capabilities.
- Self-Care Rituals: Establish regular self-care practices that nourish your body, mind, and soul. Whether it’s a soothing bath, a mindful walk, or time spent with a good book, prioritize activities that bring you joy and relaxation.
- Gratitude Journaling: Reflect on the things you appreciate about yourself and your life. Cultivating gratitude can shift your focus towards the positive aspects of your journey.
- Setting Boundaries: Learn to say no when necessary and establish healthy boundaries. Protecting your time and energy is an act of self-love.
- Celebrate Achievements: Acknowledge your accomplishments, both big and small. Celebrate your successes and recognize your growth along the way.
