I’ve been a bit self indulgent today… and this is where I have been.
The beach is my ‘special’ place. It’s the place I go to meditate, commune with my muse and just to reorganise my thoughts. No one ever interrupts me when I am having my moment on the beach; sitting high on the dunes, eyes closed and listening to the roar of the ocean. It is very cathartic.
Invigorated and energised by my ‘moment’ of peace, I then set of for a walk in these little babies!!

Not many people on the beach this morning but I did chat to an old friend.

He’s here with his buddies every morning.
Believe it or not, these guys actually have personality.

I’ve been kept incredibly busy this past 10 days with my new online course which is now running, plus my usual classes and when I can get motivated, pattern writing for the 2010 Christmas Collection. Every year it’s the same…. I find my enthusiasm lagging when it comes to working on Christmas in the middle of the year. This year I think is the worst ever. Probably because I feel like the year has just flown and in my mind it is still early in 2010…. the calender and my customers tells me otherwise. Seems there are quite a few crafters out there waiting eagerly to begin their preparations for Christmas [sigh].
I’ll try and get around and visit you all in the next 24 hours and meanwhile, if you have any motivation tips for Christmas cheer, let me know.

Hi Kerryanne,
Oh, how I wish I was walking along that gorgeous beach with you-Hm, not sure that would be very peaceful and ME time then. lol
How about some eggnog with an extra splash of alcohol for Christmas inspiration!
Looking forward to seeing what patterns you have for Christmas.

Well, I love the boots. I had a pair of tartan ones last year and they were the best winter accessory I purchased.
