The March kit for the Handmade Club has just been released and I’m excited to share with you…. The Secret Diary of a Victorian Lady.
This kit has a soft romantic theme with a colour palette of softest greens and neutrals mixed with pale pink and white roses.
Most of the elements have been modelled off of ephemera from the Victorian era, like a gorgeous dance card and calling cards, so the kit is perfect for creating romantic and feminine style projects.
The March kit contains a variety of beautiful vintage style papers, tags, pockets and graphic embellishments that embrace the Victorian era.
While this kit can be used to create many different paper projects (several of which will be shared here on Shabby Art Boutique over the next week) the main emphasis this month is on making a journal.
How to Make a Journal
A bonus eBook is provided with the March kit and walks readers through the entire process of creating a journal from scratch, using step-by-step photos and detailed instructions.
This pretty vintage style journal measures 6” x 8”.
Every graphic you need to make this journal is included in the March kit, including all papers, covers, tags, pockets, journal cards and embellishment graphics.
I give you all the basics for making the journal and how you finish it off is up to YOU.
I’m using my journal as a writing journal, but it could be used as a memory book, an art journal… or what a fabulous gift for a special friend.
Whether you are new to journal making or a seasoned pro, this kit ‘The Secret Diary of a Victorian Lady’ provides great value for money with an abundance of coordinating papers and graphics for any shabby vintage loving crafter.
