Hello creative friends,
I’m delighted to be back in 2021, designing for the Handmade Club’s third year.
If you are new here at Shabby Art Boutique, my Handmade Club offers bespoke, limited edition digital kits for crafters who enjoy using artwork that is not widely available.
Each themed monthly kit features my original watercolour and acrylic artwork, combined with beautiful pieces from my extensive vintage ephemera and repaired Victorian art collection. Every kit embraces the shabby, cottage and vintage genre… so they are perfect for anyone who is ‘shabby at heart’.
I guess what makes these digital kits different, is the fact that they are available for one month only and then archived, so you won’t encounter the same artwork everywhere you go online. To find out more, please visit my Handmade Club page.
The January Kit – Teatime Friends
The ‘Teatime Friends’ kit is beautifully themed around friendship, tea and roses.
The colour palette for this kit ranges from blush pinks through to russet red combined with a bright pop of aqua.
The elements include delicate teacups and teapots, vintage cats and pretty ladies…. and they are all tied together with a bouquet of pretty roses.
There are 60+ individual graphics that will be suitable for making journals, planners, cards, tags and mixed media projects. This includes 19 individual friendship tags/journal cards, 4 pockets, printed words, graphic elements and roses. I’ve provided 18 pages of fussy-cuts, along with 2 x PDF’s and 2 x ZIP files.
I’ve created 18 coordinating papers, which means you can choose between just using a pink palette, an aqua palette or combine the two colour themes together.
All of the papers are provided in A4, letter and 5″ x 7″ size.
Bonus Project
This month I’ve included a sweet pop-up teacup card as a bonus ‘print & make’ project.
This card folds flat to fit inside of a 5” x 7” envelope. There’s a full step-by-step photo tutorial and printable PDF included in the club files.
The Design Team and I will be sharing more projects using the Teatime Friends kit on Shabby Art Boutique over the next two weeks.
If you’d like to purchase this kit and/or find out more about how the Handmade Club works, please visit the Handmade club page.
Happy crafting my friends!

This will be a perfect Birthday Card for my precious Daughter-in-law. She is all about tea and collects antique teacups and silver teaspoons. Thank you for another great project.
Oh, that sounds wonderful Saundra…. the perfect theme and card for her.
Hope you have lots of fun creating it.
Hugs,
Kerryanne
I’m new here and just wanted to make sure I’m understanding correctly. EVERYTHING is digital? Even the scrapbook papers? That’s a lot of printing. Thanks for clarifying.
Hi Shirley, yes it is a digital kit, so everything is provided in a digital file.
It sounds like you may be new to paper crafting and I get that it sounds like a lot of printing, but in all honesty, I think it is much cheaper than buying scrapbooking supplies, plus you get to print out exactly what you want.
Personally, I don’t see it as any different to buying any craft or art supplies, whether that be fabric for sewing, paint for painting etc. I have worked in the art field for over 30 year and have always had to buy supplies… for this craft it happens to be ink, however, I understand that this may seem overwhelming if you are new to it 🙂
