Hi creative friends,
We all know that the Craft Room is a magical place where imagination runs wild, but what makes this space truly special are the talented crafters who bring their ideas to life and share them so freely….
And now, we’re shining a spotlight on these fabulous crafters.
Crafter of the Month
Our Crafter of the Month series is a monthly dose of inspiration, a peek behind the curtain of creativity, and a chance to connect with the amazing members who make this community feel like home.
Every month, we’ll sit down with a standout member from the Craft Room to chat about all things crafty, from what they like to make to what inspires them.
This September, I am delighted to introduce you to a crafting enthusiast with a passion for various styles and a remarkable ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
Name: Lynn Harrell
Where do you live?
Florida USA
How would you describe your craft style?
This ones hard. I’m not really married to any one style of crafting. If I had to pick a favorite it would be shabby chic using fabrics and laces. It really all depends on what the project is and what I eventually want it to look and feel like. I think and plan out projects thoroughly before committing to it.
What type of projects do you like to make?
Some of my favorite projects to make are snippet rolls and needle books. Journals run a close second.
How often do you craft?
I try to craft daily. It’s my form of relaxation.
What inspires your creativity?
Inspiration comes in many forms for me from the groups I participate in, YouTube, and from my BFF Charmaine.
What are your ‘can’t live without’ craft essentials?
I can’t live without any of my crafting tools. I even go on vacation with most of them including my sewing machine and a printer. If I had to pick it would be my Tim Holtz ruler, fussy cut scissors, Cricut & Scan-n-Cut, and my new crafters printer my husband bought me for my birthday.
What are you currently working on?
I’m currently starting to work on Christmas gifts.
At any given time I have 8-10 projects, in various stages, to choose from.
My goal this year was to finish one of them before starting a new project. It’s working out so far.
I am delighted to celebrate Lynn Harrell as our September Crafter of the Month.
Her dedication, versatility, and enthusiasm are a true testament to the spirit of crafting that binds us all.
Thank you, Lynn, for being an integral part of our crafting community and for continually inspiring us with your incredible talent ♥
I look forward to shining the spotlight on another of our fabulous Craft Room members next month.
Happy crafting!
Hugs
♥
