Hi creative friends,
I’ve got some exciting news for you that’ll make your creative hearts skip a beat.
It’s time to unveil our brand-new feature for the Craft Room membership…. ‘Crafter of the Month’.
We all know that the Craft Room is a magical place where imagination runs wild, but what makes this space truly special are the talented crafters who bring their ideas to life and share them so freely….
And now, we’re shining a spotlight on these fabulous crafters.
Crafter of the Month
Crafter of the Month is a monthly dose of inspiration, a peek behind the curtain of creativity, and a chance to connect with the amazing members who make this community feel like home.
Every month, we’ll sit down with a standout member from the Craft Room to chat about all things crafty, from what they like to make to what inspires them.
Let’s celebrate our first ‘Crafter of the Month’….
Name: Beth Elardo
Where do you live?
I live in a suburb outside of Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
How would you describe your craft style?
I never thought I had a crafting style… but friends tell me that I’m very girly. I love shabby with lots of flowers and lace.
What type of projects do you like to make?
I love to make 3d projects… and I love to put lights in them. I’ve always loved staring at lights.
In Kerryanne’s groups, I have enjoyed making houses for her beloved reindeer, bunnies and mice.
I also enjoy making angels out of doilies and lace, little pouches out of burlap to hold cell phone or other items, and little purses by covering pencil cases and adding lace and pearls and flowers. I love making journals, big and little. It looks like I love making just about anything!!
How often do you craft?
I craft every day. I have a very busy work schedule, so if I don’t have time in the evening I may bring something to work to work on during lunch. There are bits of paper and lace everywhere I go – lol.
What inspires your creativity?
What inspires my creativity is mainly Kerryanne. I look at these beautiful images and my brain just tells me what to do.
I am inspired by my beautiful friends in the Craft Room as well. I love nature and photography… they inspire me also, especially for 3D projects.
What are your ‘can’t live without’ craft essentials?
I cannot live without my flowers and glue gun. Oh and of course, lace! I especially love teeny tiny flowers.
What are you currently working on?
I just finished making a journal from the Sweet and Zesty collection and I am going to make some cards from that collection also. Then I’ll start working on decorating boxes in anticipation of the Holidays.
Thank you Beth ♥
