Hello there,
Come on in to my craft room where I’m romancing fall.
This year I am totally smitten with little fabric pumpkins… and pretty fall colours.
I’ve even moved away from my usual colour palette and have embraced the soft and muted shades of grey through to plum.
It’s easy to be swept up in the romance of making handmade pumpkins and delicate silk roses/peonies, because everywhere I look online fall is trending.
I’m daydreaming about apples… pumpkin spice… and falling leaves.
Plump little pumpkins in pretty floral Tilda fabrics certainly add a cosy feel to my craft room, but they are still light enough to be perfect for the early subtle changes in the season.
I’ve been completely charmed by fall this year! What about you?
This gorgeous autumnal change has been contained within my creative space…
For outside my window, spring has bathed us in sunshine and warmth. Bees are buzzing enthusiastically from one flower to another and it’s a season brimming with new life.
I’m definitely transcending the seasons…
living in spring, while my heart belongs to fall.
Today I’m thrilled to be joining with the fabulous bHome bloggers for an inspirational look at fall.
There are 30 bHome bloggers sharing throughout the week, so lots of inspiration to read and PIN. See the links to each blogger at the bottom of this post. Not only that, there’s also a fabulous giveaway!!
While I don’t have a full home tour to share, I thought you may like to see my tutorials for making shabby fabric pumpkins and fabric peonies and roses that are featured in my craft room vignettes.
These are such easy projects with only basic sewing skills required and minimal supplies.
Did you notice the other new project hanging about the craft room this week?
Hmm…. my obsession with owls continues!!
I’ve been playing around drafting some new patterns for different types of owls. Having not made Barn Owls before, I made a few practice ones to get a feel for the dimensions and painting the faces. I’m not sure they are quite right yet, but I’m enjoying the process.
I still get a giggle every time I pass by my craft room and catch sight of these guys hanging about on the shelf. I think they are watching me!
30 bHome Bloggers will be sharing their fall inspiration all week!
