Let’s talk about wrapping Christmas gifts.
I’m truly one of those people that loves wrapping gifts any time of the year, so Christmas is even more exciting because I get to wrap gifts for all of my loved ones at once.
I even try to make an event of it… squirreled away in a room on my own, carols playing in the background, surrounded by all of my gift wrapping supplies…. paper, tissue, boxes and bags… and of course TAGS.
And I always make my own tags! They are such a fun way to add some extra sizzle to your gift wrapping.
Do you enjoy wrapping gifts too?
Gingerbread Christmas Tags
This week on my blog I am featuring all things gingerbread, so it seemed like a perfect excuse to whip up a couple of adorable gingerbread Christmas tags to gift to YOU.
They are a decent size at 8.5 cm x 12.5 cm (3.5” x 5” ), so plenty or room to write a message on the back.
The single page PDF contains 4 tags, which are ready to print on cardstock…. I printed mine on 250 gsm matte photo paper.
I think they’ll definitely add a whole lot of ‘cuteness’ to your gift wrapping and how perfect would they be for food gifts and cookie exchanges!

Gingerbread House Gift Boxes
While we are talking about all things gift wrapping, back in November 2020 I shared this sweet gingerbread house milk carton box project with the Handmade Club members. It was a bonus project made using elements from the kit that month. I’ve now made that printable file and tutorial available on Etsy.
I’ve really enjoyed painting all of the gingerbreads this month, but the gingerbread house was definitely a favourite.
There’s a handy tutorial for making the gingerbread house included with the printable, but it is really very simple.
Gingerbread houses are so uniquely Christmas and these little boxes are the perfect size for a small token gift.
They can hold a handful of chocolates, cookies, toiletries, cosmetics, jewellery, or even a store gift card etc.
At Christmas time I actually like to have a few pre-wrapped gifts ready to give to people as a friendly gesture…. like the postman, delivery drivers, neighbours etc. and these milk carton gift boxes are perfect for that.
