Hopping Into Spring

Hi creative friends,

What’s your favourite springtime or Easter decorating theme?

Mine absolutely for certain has to be….. bunnies!
They always make me smile.

I’m moving things around in my craft room today and my sweet bunnies are coming out of storage.
I’ve been a bit remiss in not getting them out after Christmas.

Printed Bunnies

Printable bunnies are so easy to pop into seasonal vignettes: you can simply lean them up against another item, adhere them to the front of a vase with doubled sided tape or add them to your families pinboard.

Other ways to use printable bunnies is for decorating cards, tags, gift bags and paper craft projects.

This sweet little Easter banner bunny (below) would be cute placed on a plate for an Easter table setting…. or on a wreath.

 

 

 

 

Maybe you prefer a more shabby vintage look.
Here’s a printable project and tutorial I shared a few years ago made with book paper accordion medallions and printed bunnies and roses.

 

 

Fabric Bunnies

While I adore the printed bunnies, I think my all time favourite bunnies have to be my fabric Blossoms.

They usually hang around the craft room all year round with the exception of Christmas.

 

 

If you like to sew, I have a pattern for these bunnies in 3 sizes…. plus clothes and shoes.

Here’s the original Blossom Bunny pattern.

A few years later I added a medium and small sized Blossom Bunny pattern as well.
