Hi creative friends,
The December kit for the Handmade Club came out last week and our first Design Team projects are ready to inspire you.
Granny’s Buttons
A kit for crafters…. it has all the beautiful things every crafter needs for their crafting space: button cards, lace keepers, ribbon boards, ribbon spool toppers and crafting graphics.
Nicola – My Shabby Craft Corner
Nicola kicked off this month with a granny chic inspired, quilted fabric cover journal.
Nicola actually printed the kit paper design directly onto fabric and then machine quilted it.
Although she is new to machine sewing, that never holds her back and as you’ll see, it turned out amazing.
It’s such a pretty project – click here to watch the flip through on YouTube.
Don’t forget to subscribe and comment.
Nicola also made this fun jump ring lace board flip.
Who wouldn’t love to have this in their crafting space.
Nicola has a new Facebook group for shabby friends to share their creative shabby projects… check it out at Shabby Journals Crafts & More.
You can connect with Nicola on her YouTube channel, My Shabby Craft Corner and on Instagram.
Thank you Nicola… we love your videos ♥
Laurette – Vintage Paper Girl
In Laurette’s first video this month, she is showing you through the Granny’s Buttons paper collection, as well as creating her multi fold folio folder.
You can craft right along with Laurette, as she shows you how to make it, including all of the measurements.
Be sure to subscribe, so you can see part two of this project next week.
You can connect with Laurette on her YouTube channel and on Instagram.
Thank you Laurette ♥
Lena Loveka
Lena used a decoupage technique to mount the lace and ribbon boards in the kit to organise her craft room.
I love the addition of fly specked paint too!
These boards are supplied in the fussy-cut PDF file in 3 sizes.
There’s also a large version included in the kit Zip file, so that you may re-size to meet your requirements.
You can connect with Lena and see her fabulous decoupage projects on Instagram.
Thanks Lena ♥
Linda – Chuckles n Charm
Linda has used several of the vintage floral rose designs from the kit to create this beautiful decoupaged button jar to store some of her vintage button card collection.
I particularly like how she left the bottom third of the jar clear, so you can see the cards inside..
Earlier this month, Linda shared her quick and easy gift boxes that are perfect for gifting a hand cream and sanitizer, so this week she made a quick tutorial video for you too.
To see more of what Linda makes, you can connect with her on her new YouTube channel, Chuckles n Charm and on Facebook.
Thanks Linda ♥
