Today I’m sharing a beautiful vintage birthday calendar book that I’ve just finished making.
A perpetual calendar book is a perfect way to keep track of birthdays, anniversaries and important dates and with lots of recent additions to our extended family, I needed to be more organised.
[PIN for later]
As my book will be used quite frequently, I decided to keep it fairly simple….
It measures 13 cm x 20 cm (approx. 5” x 8”), with a 4 cm wide spine, so perfect to sit on my office shelf or tuck into my desk drawer…. but I’d prefer to keep my pretties out where I can see them!
This birthday book has 6 double sided pages with a month to each page, but you could of course make the book much bigger by inserting extra pages.
There are pretty lace pockets inside both the front and back covers where I can keep notes and special treasures.
To make this book, I used the vintage perpetual calendar and papers from the December Handmade Club kit.
As this kit will only be available until the 14th January, be sure to grab it this week if it is of interest to you.
I recently shared another project, this romantic vintage & shabby flip tag, using the same vintage perpetual calendar.
I hope that your 2020 has got off to a great start…. Happy New Year!!
Hugs

Hello Kerryanne, I’m not very up on technology so please bear with me. Do I have to buy a printer to access the handmade club? I would love to be able to make some of your lovely things. All the best, Judy.

Hi Judy,
If you don’t have a printer you can take the files to a local print shop to be printed. I would however like to be quite upfront with you, to utilise the graphic kits you do need to have some computer knowledge. The files come as both ZIP files and PDF files and some of the older members who have very little computer knowledge have struggled with the downloading of the files. The club kits are mainly aimed at crafters who are involved in paper crafting and journal making and they use programs like Photoshop to create their own layouts with the graphics I provide in the kits. If yo are looking for simple printables like I offer in my blog freebies, then this club may not be for you.
Please fell free to email me if you have any further questions about the club – [email protected]
Happy crafting,
Kerryanne

Hi Ana, no I didn’t make a video of this project… it was for inspiration only, however, this video is the same style book – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjZpeL-7H_k
