A Mother’s Day tag for you!

With Mother’s Day just a few days away, I thought I’d share a few last minute handmade gift ideas with you today.

When I was a young girl my mother liked handmade gifts for Mother’s Day.

It’s a tradition that has endured through the decades and one that I encouraged my girls to do too.

 

Personally, I don’t believe Mother’s Day is really about the gift.

It should be a special day to recognize the devotion of our mothers… a day that says ‘thanks mum for spoiling us with love and care’.

I’m sure most mothers would appreciate a big hug, kiss and time spent with their family rather than an expensive store bought gift… well, I know I would.

What could be nicer that a little something made by hand with love!!
