Today I’m sharing a beautiful vintage birthday calendar book that I’ve just finished making.
A perpetual calendar book is a perfect way to keep track of birthdays, anniversaries and important dates and with lots of recent additions to our extended family, I needed to be more organised.
[PIN for later]
As my book will be used quite frequently, I decided to keep it fairly simple….
It measures 13 cm x 20 cm (approx. 5” x 8”), with a 4 cm wide spine, so perfect to sit on my office shelf or tuck into my desk drawer…. but I’d prefer to keep my pretties out where I can see them!
This birthday book has 6 double sided pages with a month to each page, but you could of course make the book much bigger by inserting extra pages.
There are pretty lace pockets inside both the front and back covers where I can keep notes and special treasures.
To make this book, I used the vintage perpetual calendar and papers from the December Handmade Club kit.
As this kit will only be available until the 14th January, be sure to grab it this week if it is of interest to you.
I recently shared another project, this romantic vintage & shabby flip tag, using the same vintage perpetual calendar.
I hope that your 2020 has got off to a great start…. Happy New Year!!
