Do you sometimes struggle to find enough spare time to get creative?
Over the years I’ve found a way to make use of even short snippets of time to enjoy being creative…. because even just 10 minutes spent with a coffee and a craft project can be very relaxing and boost your overall creativity.
This process was very beneficial to me when we had the holiday resort business. I often had brief periods where I could indulge in something creative, but it wasn’t enough time to actually set up and work on a bigger project.
I used a project basket that contained various creative projects that could be pulled out and worked on for a brief time and quickly packed up again. I guess you’d call these portable projects.
Here’s 10 of my favourite 10 minute projects
I cut out all the petal shapes and keep them in a zip lock bag ready for when I have a few minutes to sear edges over a candle. This one is probably my most relaxing craft project.

I’ve been making these petite little crochet flowers for years and use them in all kinds of crafts from handmade cards, tags, art journals to general crafting. I try to always have a container of them ready to use.

10. Printing Downloaded Printables for Future Projects
Do you keep a stockpile of free printables from the internet?
If you’ve got a spare 10 minutes, print a few off ready for use next time you are crafting.

Happy crafting!!
