I always appreciate when I receive handmade gifts.
As a crafter, I know just how many hours go into making something by hand…. plus the patience and expertise it takes to make an item from scratch.
These gifts are indeed special… they are individual and something that can’t be found just anywhere. That being said, it’s also true that a handmade gift is not for everyone, so I’m always careful about whom I give these kinds of gifts to.
Although I’m making a lot of my own gifts this year, I don’t always have enough time to make it all, so I choose to buy handmade for my ‘special craft loving’ friends. Etsy and local handmade markets are my go to for this kind of shopping. We have a big ‘Etsy Made Local’ market in my city next week and I’ll be popping on over to check it out for unique, one-of-a-kind gifts to tick off my Christmas list.
I always think that a handmade tag is the finishing touch to any handmade item, so I’ve created a new batch of shabby printable tags for both you and I to use.
They are not specifically Christmas themed, so that they can be used all year.
You can download the sheet of tags HERE.
Print them on either thin card or a page of sticker paper.
I look forward to sharing all my handmade Christmas projects with you next week.
