As October draws to a close, we’re wrapping up our month-long celebration of A Homemade Christmas with two truly magical projects from our talented Design Team members, Lauren and Sandra.
This month has been all about handmade gifting and heartfelt creativity… and these two inspiring crafters are finishing the month with projects that beautifully capture the joy and spirit of the season.
Lauren ~ Shabby Chic Sundae
Lauren has delighted us once again with her incredible imagination and attention to detail.
This week, she created the most adorable standing Advent calendar for her kitchen counter… a shabby treasure that’s both beautiful and interactive!
Using a mix of tags and enlarged ephemera pieces, Lauren designed 25 pages to flip through, beginning December 1st, to count down the days until Santa arrives.
Her creativity and gentle shabby style never fail to inspire us all, and this charming project is sure to become a treasured part of her holiday home décor.

Sandra ~ Atelier Vintage Rose
Sandra, well known for her exquisite explosion boxes, surprised us this week with something extra special… a miniature Christmas explosion box featuring the tiniest birdhouse inside!
This delightful creation is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and filled with mini pockets, tags, and delicate flowers.
Every little detail reflects Sandra’s signature elegance and craftsmanship.

She’s also been working on the most adorable Santa sleigh box… we can’t wait to see what festive treasures she’ll tuck inside!
Sandra continues to charm us with her artistry and the love she pours into every project.
