Hi there. . . come on in and join the party.
I’m participating in Karen’s (My Desert Cottage) third ‘Where Bloggers Create’ blog party.
Welcome to the Shabby Art Boutique ~ where I create.
This is my studio and teaching craft room for my business Woodberry Designs.
My studio is a long narrow room of approximately 12 metres x 3 metres.
Half the studio is my working space where I work each day. . .
the other half is my teaching craft room,
where I conduct creative craft classes in decorative painting, altered art and mixed media, creative sewing, art journaling, embroidery, doll making, scrapbooking and card making.
When we built the studio, I designed it so that my desk could be in front of this 3 metre wide window. Above it, there is a full width skylight that bathes my desk in natural sunlight. My desk looks out on to our back yard and the pool area, so I can work and observe the family activity at the same time.
It’s an ever changing environment. . . but for the moment I’m enjoying the romantic vintage decor.
Creativity and inspiration surrounds on every wall.
There’s even a beverage bar for my students.
And of course, no studio is complete without studio buddies. . . and I have two of the cutest fur babies that keep me company every day.
They really do sit up at the craft tables and watch what I’m doing. They often come to class too!!
But the best part about my creative space is. . .
. . .the gorgeous ladies who come here to play with creative things, have a laugh, a cuppa
and make happy memories.

What a beautiful sun fulled space! Love the way you dress your dolls. And what good hairy students you have! Wish my puppy would behave that well, when she gets on a chair it’s usually to see if there’s anything left on the table to eat!
