My Victorian Romance collection is themed around Victorian era letters, postcards, books and writing implements…. all the things you’d find in a Victorian ladies library or parlour.
For Victorians ladies, there were many rules for proper correspondence, which encompassed everything from acceptable shades of paper to the ink she used and of course, her penmanship.
The main digital collection for Victorian Romance includes many pieces of Victorian ephemera like love letters, postcards and notelets. With these in mind, I decided to use the kit papers to make a sweet little accordion file to store them.
It measures 6″ x 4″ x 1″ (15 cm x 10 cm x 2.5 cm)…. so it is quite dainty, but perfect for use on a ladies desk or shelf.
The printable file requires just 3 sheets of cardstock weight matte photo paper, that is printed on both sides.
I have provided an easy to follow step-by-step photographic tutorial with the printable PDF, so the accordion storage file can be assembled in less than 30 minutes.
Inside the storage file there are 4 compartments to store your pretties in.
This may be the letters, postcards of tags provided in the kit… or you may prefer to use it as an embellishments storage file…. there are over 80 pieces in the kit.
There are several options for closing your accordion storage file… I used magnets, but you could use ribbon, velcro dots or even a button and string closure.
No matter what you use, it is such a sweet project and would be such a gorgeous gift for a friend.

This is a digital PDF file that you download to your own computer and print at home or at the print shop.
