Hi creative friends,
Welcome back to our Craft Room Crafter of the Month series, where we celebrate the creative ladies that make our crafting community thrive.
It’s that time again to shine a spotlight on one of our outstanding members, to delve into their crafting world, and to draw inspiration from their passion.
This month, I am absolutely delighted to introduce you to Agnieszka LaLoggia.
Aga (as she is known) has been an integral part of our crafting community for the last year , consistently sharing her creativity and expertise with fellow members.
Her dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed, and we are thrilled to honor her as our April Crafter of the Month.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Aga to chat about her crafting journey, her sources of inspiration, and her invaluable tips for fellow crafters.
Here’s a sneak peek into our conversation:
Name & where do you live (state/country)?
Agnieszka LaLoggia ~ Illinois, USA
What initially inspired you to start crafting, and how did you discover your passion for it?
Honestly I have always liked art classes and was in charge of monthly class boards throughout my school years , I have always kept journal that I liked to decorate with stickers or colorful pens.
How would you describe your craft style?
My craft style depends on mood I’m in but I honestly don’t say I keep it to one style .
Can you share a memorable crafting project that holds a special place in your heart and why it’s meaningful to you?
My most memorable crafting project got to be my first scrapbook I made for my sister’s birthday.
In a world full of crafting possibilities, what specific craft or technique do you find most enjoyable and why?
My most favorite technique is anything I can make mess with .
How has being a member of the Craft Room community at Shabby Art Boutique influenced your creative journey?
Being part of this amazing community has been so much fun , I can always count on finding lots of inspirations for my next project and the monthly kits have been giving me so much crafty joy. I’m a huge fan of ladies sharing their amazing ideas during the monthly Facebook lives.
Are there any particular artists or crafters who have significantly influenced your style and approach to crafting?
Since being part of the crafty adventures I love anything Kerryanne creates but before I had a pleasure to discover her amazing digital kits I have always loved watching Heidi Swapp,Paige Evans , Ali Edwards , Treresa Collins , Maggie Holmes and my dear friend Sarah Bargo create their magic .
Can you share a behind-the-scenes glimpse into your creative process? What does a typical crafting session look like for you?
My favorite time of the week is definitely weekend were I finally find time for my crafty sessions, which are usually focused on filling the blanks in my daily journaling in which I document my day to day moments embellished either with stamps or photos .
What are your ‘can’t live without’ craft essentials?
My absolute favorite crafty essentials are definitely stamps , simple punches , die cuts especially in floral shapes , double sides adhesive and glitter glue .
What are you currently working on?
I currently don’t have any particular project I’m working on. Last weekend I finished my favorite style of a greeting card – exploding box card and I’m always working on my journal which keeps me remember time passing by way to fast.
Aga is a cherished member of our community and we are incredibly grateful to have her as part of our crafting family.
A big thank you to Aga for taking the time to answer my interview questions! Your insights and experiences are truly invaluable, and we appreciate you sharing them with us. ♥
