Is there anything funnier than a dog in an Elizabethan Collar (bucket)?
Yes… two dogs with buckets on their heads!!
I have to see the humorous side, because the not so funny part is the sound you can hear in the background… listen… kaching, kaching, kaching.
That would be the vet bills adding up this past week. Yikes, we’ve spent more than we earned but they are worth it. They are our furry babies!!
Our little toy poodle puppy Milly (black) needed to be spayed and is a right terror with chewing the stitches. Our old girl Gypsy (white) is a Bichon Frise which are prone to dog warts in their old age. She’s had a few but just recently she developed two unusual looking ones on both of her left legs. We had them removed to be safe. The dogs have kept us amused this week with their bucket head antics.
While the family enjoyed the beautiful beach weather this weekend I stayed home to babysit the furry babies and managed to get a fair bit done in the studio. Lots of sewing and painting was completed in preparation for term one classes. This new painted sign sums up Sunday afternoon perfectly.
Here’s a sneak peak of one of my new patterns that will be available in my web store when it re-opens next week.
Wonder what it could be???
Wishing you all a very creative week.

Two cute dogs having such a good home!
Your sneaks look charming!

I had to put one of these cones on my poor little bunny after she’d had an operation. The problem with this is that bunnies have a strange digestive system and they have to eat their own poo… Imagine the mess??

Oh I remember when my dog was in one of these, poor thing but better than the alternative.
Love the new patterns. Can’t wait to see them in their entirety

There isn’t anything quite so funny & undignified as a puppy with a post surgery collar, oh dear, they look embarrassed. I immediately thought, oh, is your vet off to Europe again with the surgery fees?? Love Posie
