Some weeks just get away from you. . . I’ve had an unwell child at home this week, so we’ve had several doctors appointments, medical tests and lots of TLC. . . and although I had big plans for my work time this week, sometimes that’s just the way it goes.
I did manage to get two new patterns written and uploaded to the Boutique. . . do you remember my French Le Journal cover?
This pattern design actually gives instructions for making any sized fabric journal cover, plus it has the printable graphics if you like the French design. With 17 colour photos and detailed step-by-step instructions, even novice sewers can make this project.
I surprised myself and actually got this Vintage Needle Book pattern written straight away. . .
. . . it is so much easier to write the pattern when it is fresh in your head instead of referring back to notes and practically having to remake it again. . . if only I did that all the time!
As an added bonus, I also have the printed fabric panels for this pattern design, as well as bling buttons and lace available on my crafting supplies page here.
So both of these patterns along with the Lace and Ribbon Boards pattern are now available here at Shabby Art Boutique by Woodberry Designs.
And speaking of my Lace And Ribbon Boards. . .
. . . a big thank you to Nicki from The Vintage Farmhouse for featuring them on her Creative Things Thursday.
If you love shabby, vintage and farmhouse. . . you must pop on over here
and visit Nicki and make sure you checkout Creative Things Thursday for lots of lovely creative ideas.
So that’s it from me this week. . . today I have everyone well and back at school, the sun is shining and I’m out in the studio painting goodies to sell next week.
Until then, hugs ~ Kerryanne
Kerryanne,
I am sorry your child is ill. Hopefully all will be well soon. Enjoy reading your blog. The music is especially nice tonight. A Gordon Lightfoot song from my childhood…very sentimental to me. Not sure who the lady is singing it, but it’s lovely. ttyl Marilyn
I hope your munchkin is feeling better….love the french themed craftiness 🙂 Barb.
Not good to see your child unwell, glad to hear they are on the right track now.
I love that journal cover so much I think I will have to drag my sewing machine out of the cupboard and give it a go. Just loving these new pieces.
