I had a request this week from Sue, to help her find the blog post for the shabby chic button cards she had seen in a post from 2014.
I knew straight away which cards she was referring to, but also remembered that they were included in some photos of crafty projects over the years, but I had actually never got around to sharing a printable.
These sweet little cards measure 7 cm x 10 cm (2.75” x 3.93”), so are a great size to include in a greeting card or to dress up the top of a gift for a crafty friend.
This was the pretty greeting card project that Sue was referring to, where the button cards have been used on the front of the card.
The button cards are even just pretty to have in your stash or to decorate your creative space.
It’s a nice way to make a feature of special one-of-a-kind buttons or vintage buttons that you find. Perhaps you have some buttons from clothing of a loved one or maybe you have your grandmothers button jar. What a lovely way to feature a few special buttons!!
The shabby chic button cards are available as a printable PDF in either letter size (US) or A4.

These are adorable! Thank you for making them shareable !
So glad you like them Carol. Enjoy!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE both of these card sets! I too love buttons.. especially old vintage buttons, but also love me some blingy buttons with rhinestones and gems too! These cards would be so adorable for my sewing themed cards that I make. Thank you so so much!
I’ve used these cards on the front of handmade greeting cards Marilyn and they look great. I have to admit to liking a few rhinestone blingy buttons and they make lovely gifts when sewn to a pretty piece of card or a button card. I hop eyou enjoy creating with these button cards 🙂
Oh Kerryanne these are beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you for the beautiful thing you share. I am wondering if the font colour of your newsletter could be made darker, it is difficult to read as it is if you have a slight eye impairment.
Sorry to hear you are having difficulties with reading the newsletter Joan. I’ll certainly take a look at it and see what changes I can make 🙂
