You might have noticed I’ve been MIA from blogland this week and there is a very good reason; you might even say a ‘jolly’ good reason. Yes, I’m locked in the studio working on Christmas. Well… not literally locked in the studio ’cause that would be ridiculous [giggle]. More a self imposed ‘nose to grind stone’ confinement to the studio.
Last week I was struggling for Christmas motivation and sent out a plea for help. So, thank you all for your motivational tips and “Yes, Aunty Beryl the photo of you and your water aerobics class did help”.
Sooooo, with some minor adjustments to the studio, my senses are alive with Christmas spirit. I’m enjoying the spicy aroma of my Christmas candles, swinging my hips to the endless loop of carols and munching my way through a basket of Christmas culinary delights. Some of your inspiration tips proved a tad unsuccessful; the flickering of the fairy lights did weird things to my eyes… as did the eggnog [sigh].

Hi Kerryanne,
I am looking forward to seeing your new Christmas patterns, it is just about time to get started on all those festive projects. I hope you have recovered from Aimee’s birthday party, has she?
Karen
Hey Kerryanne! Hmmm … having a very funny mental picture moment of you trying to paint after a cup too much eggnog … somewhat along the lines of your Christmas cooking tutorial a couple of years ago! Tee! Hee! Hee! Can’t wait to see what stitchy goodies you’ve come up with and hope you continue to have a ‘jolly’ good time! :0) Bear Hugs! KRIS
