This past week I’ve been creating with the pretty papers and garden themed embellishments from this month’s kit for the Handmade Club.
The sweet nature inspired elements in the ‘A Cottage Garden’ kit lend themselves to many different types of projects and I’m sharing a few of mine with you today.
The tag below is made using the bingo card, bird and backing paper from the kit.
I love vintage style seed packets and they are really quick and easy to make.
Simply cut out the envelope design, score the edges of the packet front, fold the tabs in and glue in place.
For this kit, I designed three different seed packets with a vintage look in pastel blue, pink and aqua.
They look lovely attached to a card or tucked into a cottage decor vignette.
I used some of the papers from the kit to cover the drawers in this Kaisercraft 6 drawer unit that’s been hanging around in my stash for a while.
The drawers are the perfect size to hold small embellishments and bits and bobs, so I’ll be using this one on my office desk.
As well as using the papers on the drawer fronts, I also covered the outside of the unit with this shabby look ledger paper that was in this months kit. The rest of the unit was painted white.
‘A Cottage Garden’ kit will be available in the Handmade Club until the 14th August.
The kit contains 15 papers in two sizes, with a colour palette of pastel pink, blue and aqua.
The 35 embellishments include a variety of seed packets, journal cards, advertising cards, tickets, bingo cards, tabs etc.
All of the graphics are in 300 dpi and have transparent backgrounds. They come as a ZIP file, as well as a couple of printable PDF’s.

I can’t wait to see your garden journal Deborah. I’m making one too, but I think it is going to be one those long projects that I keep adding to, but a fun one to have on the go for a while. 🙂

Hi Kerryanne, do you have the “envelope design” you mentioned here, for the seed packets, that you can share (printable). I’d love to make this project. Thank you for your beautiful designs each month.
