There was much excitement on the first day of holidays today when the postie van pulled up in our driveway to drop off a package. I sometimes wonder what the neighbours think when they see the postie popping in so often. Perhaps I need a sign on the letterbox –
Anyhoo, today’s delivery was just a small package which made its journey all the way from Kansas in the US. Back in February I was lucky enough to win the monthly giveaway from the delightful Karla at Karla’s Cottage. Karla was one of the first blogs I followed when I started blogging and she is the most inspiring and stimulating artists. I always feel invigorated after a visit with Karla.
You lucky lady, what beautiful things! Love the earings.

how exciting and how lucky to be the winner!! I must go in more blog comps, havent received any exciting parcels yet. Might even give those swap things a go one day (hmm that would involve more hours in the day though wouldnt it!!)

Hey Kerryanne! Woo! Woo! Look at you!! Those are some pretty, sparkly earrings and I’m sure you’ll look like a princess when you wear them – though I don’t recommend getting QUITE that close to the candles while wearing them! Tee! Hee! Hee! LOve that candle with the music wrapped around it and the old-fashioned keys, by the way – lovely!! Enjoy your postie surprises! Bear Hugs! KRIS
I’m glad you liked them!
What a great idea for your sign. I’m sure you could sell them to all of us who are visited often by the ups man too.

Funny …We go to the Post office to pick up our mail and I always feel paranoid about all the packages!
But with 3 littlies and living rural I buy most things online.
Your earrings look great…
Giveaways and being the lucky winner is the best!

Love the earrings and those coasters and the book . Hope your Dad is ok .
Hey Kerryanne,
They are beautiful, and they’ll match with anything you want to wear.
Hm, I may need to borrow them at some later date.
Hugs, Anna
Oh lucky you and pretty earrings!!!! I adore Karla’s blog, she is like the energiser bunny, going all the time and the things she creates in a week would take me months to do. I am particularly fond of her dinner parties and the ability to paint a dining room table a different colour just hours before the actual dinner….such fun! Thanks for sharing…nice photos…

So funny that you photographed your new earrings in pretty vignettes! Ever since I started blogging it seems I, too, have to photograph EVERYTHING just in case I decide to blog them! Thanks for stopping by and a blessed Easter to you and your family!
