Not a tangible gift…although of course I did get plenty of those and I am most appreciative for those gifts…this was an even better gift.
Then the Christmas Miracle!!
So I’d like to think of it as some kind of
Christmas Miracle.
For me, I feel blessed that a friend has more time here with us. It also made me re-evaluate my disappointment at not feeling my usual amount of Christmas cheer. How selfish of me to be worrying about not being able to join in certain festivities. There is SO much more to be grateful for.
I hope everyone has had a blessed Christmas.
Hugs,
Kerryanne
Oh my goodness, that is a true miracle. Bless your friend, but you also!!! Rachaelxo
Yes A real miracle I agree…see sometimes Miracles do happen!!
How wonderful for your friend and for her to be able to share the news with you!!
Isn’t also amazing how Santa knows all these things too AND that when he runs out of time he gets things from Big W and forgets to take the sticker off!! Doh!!!!!
It looks like you had a lovely Christmas day…together…no matter what the mess or the state of your dress ( little bit of rhyming there did you notice?) at least you where all there on Christmas morning together! Biggest Kiss Noises Linda Lilly Cottage.
Wow Kerryanne, that is brilliant news about your friend. That would have to be the best gift I have heard about this Christmas – the gift of life.
Hey Scrooge … I mean Kerryanne! Tee! Hee! Hee! I actually can’t imagine you being scrooge-like, even on a bad day! Soooooo pleased to hear your friend’s great news!! And wonderful to be reminded that sometimes doctors may not be able to fix things, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be fixed! May you and your friend enjoy many, many more years of fun and friendship together!! Bear Hugs! KRIS
Oh my goodness, how adorable it all is, sweetpea. ANNNNDDD Kerryanne, the same thing happened to a friend of a friend of mine. The lump in the breast simply disappeared after she was told it was malignant! Yes, honey, miracles do certainly happen. Hooray for your friend.
Smooches,
Connie
Yes for all up’s there seems to be downs…I think many feel a little deflated on boxingday.
But what great and inspiring is your friends news!
I can understand this kind of Miracle completely…I have my Husband by my side because of such a Miracle!
I had a gratitude diary in 2007,Each and everyday I wrote something I was greatful for….Thus somedays it was simply…
“to be going to bed after a long and gruelling day”
But neverless It rerally helped my perspective.
We do have much to be thankful for.
Glad you got to see some extra Joy!
Mmmwha!
