In this months issue of Australian Handmade magazine (Vol 26/No 8), I have 2 projects featured. The first, a vintage pedestal plate painted in the softest greens, featuring hand painted full bloom pink roses. 
Sorry this photo is a bit blurry. The photos in the magazine are not much better. I appreciate the problems with photographing pastels and the colour printing process, but the photos in the mag are not a true indication of the colours in either of these projects.
The second project was this Laundry Room canvas which you may remember I showed a sneak peek of last year when I painted it.
Today I was lucky enough to receive not one but two awards from the lovely Clare at Clare’s Craft Room. Clare was certainly a very deserving recipient of these awards. They are the
Sisterhood Award
and the ‘Top 10 fav’ Award.
Thank you very much Clare. I think we all appreciate being acknowledged and receiving such awards from those that follow our blogs. I also love being able to pass these awards on to the beautiful friends I have made in blogland – some of these gals may have already received these awards but that just goes to prove they are very deserving!!

And your mag projects are GORGEOUS – love that green – Of course! :0) Hmmm … I wasn’t happy with some of the photos they used of my bearbie in a mag this time, either – the photos I sent in were much more true to colour and interesting!
