November in The Handmade Club

Hello lovelies,

If you are a member already of the Handmade Club, you will have received your projects for November today.

This month there is a secret sewing project and a Christmas graphics kit.

The Vintage Cottage Christmas Kit

The Vintage Cottage Christmas Kit was inspired by my love of vintage and Victorian art and the cottage colours of GreenGate… think pink, mint green, pale blue and dusty red.

This is a kit that includes a printable PDF file of all items, plus there are two zip folders containing all the png files (transparent backgrounds) for 34 papers and banners and 33 individual vintage embellishments.

 

 

As an example, I used the vintage cottage Christmas graphics to make a large banner/garland, but there are many options including making Christmas decorations, cards and tags, paper crafts like placemats, napkin rings, invitations etc.

I provide examples of how I have chosen to use them as well as instruction on how to download and use the graphics provided.

 

Working with paper is both quick and easy, so you’ll be able to make endless projects in time for the holidays.

 

 

I’ve combined these gorgeous old graphics with my own papers, creating new designs that are original to Shabby Art Boutique.

 

 

I made this garland of a dozen layered banners in an afternoon using papers and embellishments from the kit, plus some vintage book pages and a few bibs and bibs from around the craft room like sequins and glitter.
