Usually at this time of year I take a little time off from my blog to spend the holidays with my family.
Although I’ve been popping in with less frequency this past few weeks, it’s not because I’m on holidays… actually, quite the opposite.
Now that we are living at the resort, our world rotates around tourism and peak periods. Christmas and January summer holidays are definitely PEAK season!
I quite enjoy the start of the new year.
It’s a fresh start. . . a time to focus on new beginnings and planning for my year ahead.
So when I’ve had short bursts of ‘ME’ time I’ve been working on my annual Creativity Planner and small projects to keep my creativity on track and in balance for 2014.
Every year I make a wish jar or box. . .
It’s a place to collect and store all my dreams and wishes in one place.
It lets the Universe know my heartfelt desires.
Also, writing my wishes on a piece of paper and storing them in the wish jar allows me to detach a little from those goals, so I can then focus on other things.
To make a wish jar, simply write down your wishes, dreams and goals for the year on a piece of paper and then roll them up and place in the jar.
It’s always fun to look back later on to see how many of your wishes have been granted.
Believe me. . . you’ll be surprised!!
I’ve also been working on my annual Creativity Planner.
I’ve put together a collection of calendars, worksheets, daily planners, a blog and social media planner… there’s places to store statistics, project inspiration and many other needful things.
I’ll be sharing my planner and free downloads with you next week, so if you’d like to make yourself a creativity planner to keep your mojo in check for 2014, please pop back on Monday.
I’m sharing my 2014 Wish Jar with these fabulous friends:
Inspiration Exchange, The DIY Dreamer, The Scoop, Project Inspired Transformation Thursday, French Country Cottage, The Vintage Farmhouse, Be Inspired Friday at Common Ground
I’d be thrilled if you’d like to connect with me at the following places. . .
