Hi creative friends,
This week we welcomed a brand new kit to the Craft Room: Mr Whimble’s Toy Shoppe!
Step inside Mr Whimble’s Toy Shop… a forgotten treasure where time has stood still and vintage toys wait patiently on crooked shelves.
This whimsical and softly shabby digital collection is filled with pastel papers, antique toy illustrations, vintage receipts, and nostalgic ephemera… perfect for children’s journals, memory keeping, and timeless handmade projects.
Bonus Projects:
I wanted to include my love for storytelling and enchantment into a fun bonus project, so I created the whimsical Mr Whimble’s Toy Hospital Folio.
Long ago, in the quiet corner of a winding cobbled lane,
there sat a toy shop filled with wonders…
And tucked behind a crooked door at the back of the shop,
Mr Whimble ran a tiny hospital for well-loved toys.
There were drawers of giggles, shelves of sleepy bears,
and pockets full of promises waiting to be mended.
This little folio is a glimpse inside that enchanted place…
a story stitched with thread and paper, wonder and whimsy…
…for those who still believe that toys remember everything.
Next I shared a super quick and easy set of printable 3D toy blocks.
There are three different designs in this set, and each cube features a collection of sweet vintage toys from the kit.
These blocks are perfect for displaying in a craft space, a child’s bedroom, adding to a dollhouse scene, or as a charming little shelf accent for handmade decor.

Nicola ~ Shabby Journals Crafts & More
Nicola kicked off our new kit in the most magical way with her gorgeous 3D Toy Shoppe Diorama.
It’s truly a miniature world of wonder, featuring a charming doll house, plane, train, car, spinning top, and toy blocks… all bursting with nostalgic detail.

Watch the video on Instagram.
As an added treat, Nicola shared a creative prompt for the group with a template for making a sweet 3D toy car!
Thank you so much, Nicola, for both your fabulous 3D project and for inspiring everyone to join in the fun.

Agnieszka ~ LaLoggia
Agnieszka delighted us this week with not one but two adorable projects.
Her first project was a 3D toy cupboard from Mr Whimble’s Toy Shoppe, filled with tiny toys. She even included working drawers at the bottom, complete with a sweet mini tag book inside—so clever and detailed!

For her second project, Aga created an enchanting spiral-bound mini album in the shape of Mr Whimble’s Toy Shoppe itself.
The front cover flips open to reveal page after page of pockets perfect for storing fussy cuts from the kit.
Such thoughtful design and attention to detail make both of these projects a joy to behold.

Thank you so much, Aga, for sharing your beautiful imagination and craft with us!

Myry ~ Fils et Papiers
Myry also found wonderful inspiration in the Toy Shoppe wardrobe and turned it into a freestanding 3D wardrobe complete with tiny doll clothes hanging inside and sweet little dolls sitting on the shelf.

And tucked into the drawer at the base? Possibly the smallest, most adorable teeny-tiny journal I’ve ever seen, featuring papers from the kit!

The intricate details and finishing touches on this project truly make it a masterpiece of miniature crafting.
Thank you, Myry, for sharing your extraordinary talent and for capturing the playful spirit of Mr Whimble’s world so beautifully.
