Let’s have a party, you and me.
I’ll bring the cupcakes, you bring the tea!
I was lucky enough to attend a tea party today…
Which is always a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
Each person brought along something sweet to add to the table.
I made red velvet cupcakes with a swirl of coral cream cheese topping… mmmm.
It gave me an opportunity to use some gorgeous pearl cupcake wrappers and a cake box I received from WholePort awhile back.
The boxes came flat packed and folded out easily to make this clever little carry box with a cellophane window….. which is lovely for sneaky peeks of the gourmet delights inside.
At just $1.50 for 5 boxes, this is the easiest way to transport cupcakes and how perfect for a gift of cupcakes. WholePort also has boxes that hold a dozen cupcakes.
Now for something totally adorable… check out these butterfly cup clips!
I popped a packet of them into my hostess gift and she loved them so much, she put them on everyone’s teacups today.
They were so pretty fluttering around the table.
It was such a pleasure to use these lovely paper products. I’ve been hanging onto them for ages… just waiting for the right occasion and today was the perfect day to use them.
And just in case you’d like to make your own delicious Red Velvet Cupcakes… you can get the recipe I used HERE
There are none left, so they must have been pretty good!!
I’ll confess…. I have a full tummy.
Might need to take a brisk walk to burn off some of the sweet treats I indulged in today.
Until next time,
Hugs – Kerryanne

Your cupcakes look so beautiful Kerryanne. Really loved the cupcake cases and the butterfly cup clips. In fact so beautiful will try and order some .I have copied off the cupcake recipe and think I will make some for my friends who are coming to do some stitching at the end of the week. They won’t look anything like yours though. Shirley N.Z.

Thank you Shirley. Those red velvet cupcakes were gobbled up very quickly, so must have been nice. I’ll have to make some more just so we can get a taste of them too.
Perfect little something for a stitching day 🙂
