In this week filled with LOVE,
It’s hard to escape the topic of Valentines.
…and who would want to avoid such a romantic day of the year anyway!
After 28 years with my man, it’s unlikely I’m going to be wooed with love letters, flowers or chocolates from any secret admirers…
I’ll leave that to the gorgeous 16 year old in the house…
But that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate the day of love with some fun of our own.
I’m making these fun little fairy bread hearts for a special surprise treat in the school lunch box on Friday.
Shh… I might have a few extra for myself…
because you are never too old for fairy bread!!
These yummy little candy hearts are so easy to make too.
Simply butter a slice of bread, cover with candy sprinkles (or Hundreds & Thousands here in Australia) and then cut hearts out with a heart shaped cookie cutter.
I think they’ll be a ‘wicked’ little surprise treat for Valentine’s Day… don’t you?
I’m sharing my Valentines Fairy Bread with these friends:
