Hello friends,
Last week the October kit for the Handmade Club was released to all club members… and today I’m delighted to be sharing it with you.
I’ve called this kit ‘Home for Christmas’…. because this year more than ever, we need a little Christmas sparkle and magic at home.
Covid travel restrictions will prevent many people from traveling to be with loved ones this year, so let’s make our homes as festive as can be.
HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
It’s become an annual tradition that I kick off the Christmas season with a planner…. but that’s definitely not all you will get from this kit.
October’s ‘Home for Christmas’ gives you everything you need to plan out your Christmas, whether that is a planner, a journal, a December daily, a memory book or simply to prepare lists for the season ahead.
What’s in the October Kit
The October kit is always a big one, because there is just so much one needs to make Christmas planners and journals.
To start with, there is a coordinated pack of 16 full sized papers (A4 and letter size) in a colour palette of cheerful pinks, cherry reds and aqua, that can be used to create planners, journals, mixed media or Christmas crafts.
The 2020 Christmas Planner
In the ‘Home for Christmas’ kit there is not one, but two Christmas planners!
First. there is a printable 5″ x 7″ planner which contains all of your decorative calendars, planner and list pages, pockets, tabs and journal cards. This has been provided in a PDF for easy printing, as well as a zip file.
You may decide to create a planner or use elements from the file to create other things.
The coordinating papers also give you the option to make travellers notebooks, journals of any size or for scrapbooking.
BONUS – 2020 Christmas Planner in a Box
This year I have made a sweet Christmas planner in a box… essentially, it is everything that you would have in a bound planner or journal, except the cards sit in a filing system in a box. It’s kinda like a deconstructed journal.
What I like about this project is that it is pretty enough to sit out on display and is easily accessible throughout the holiday period. You can use it simply as a planner, or add in a December Daily or a journal at the back. Plus, each item can be removed from the box to be used individually. The cards are landscape orientation and measure 5″ x 7″. I’ll be posting about this project later this week.
This bonus project is provided in the kit as both a printable PDF file and a zip file.
See full post about this projects and YouTube video HERE.
But that’s not all….
As always, there are beautiful printable graphics for use in your Christmas crafting projects.
These are supplied as transparent, 300 dpi graphics in zip files, as well as printable PDF files for fussy cutting.
Along with handy words, advent numbers and journal cards, there is a coordinated assortment of beautiful vintage angels, Santa’s and Victoriana.
The Home for Christmas kit contains 163 individual items and the choice of 62 printable pages…. of course, you need only use what you require, so you can pick and choose which pages to print.
I truly love Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed painting many of the graphics used in this kit and where I have added in vintage graphics, they too have been completely altered with the addition of watercolour art, so that you are getting an original one of a kind kit.
