Hello friends…
I’m so glad you all enjoyed my Christmas in the Craft Room tour.
I really appreciated all your lovely comments and emails and I thought today I’d address one of the most asked questions….
Many people were intrigued with the gorgeous Christmas tree.
It’s a 90cm (3 foot high) Lush Pine Needle Snow Christmas Tree from Koch.com.au
It’s my first ever flocked tree and I absolutely love it. The snow effect is thick and life like and there was minimal loss of flocking when constructing and hanging ornaments.
I also purchased the magnificent matching snow garland and wreaths. The garland is draped over my dresser in the kitchen and it gives me heart palpitations every time I walk past. So, so loving it too!! I’ll share that with you next week.
Did you recognise the decorations on my shabby Christmas tree?
They are handmade ornaments that I have shared with you as tutorials the past few Christmases…
Like these vintage book paper baubles
The Tilda Angels are cut-outs from the scrapbook paper pad, Happiness is Homemade. This collection has recently been discontinued, but there may still be stores with this collection in stock.
There are faux patchwork Christmas ornies
in different shapes like stars and trees.
and shabby faux patchwork hearts…
plus a shabby scraps garland…
I also added faux roses, white tulle bows, pink baubles and several metres or mini gold bead garland.
It’s a tree that is essentially just for ME and it’s making me very happy!
Merry Christmas,
Happy crafting
♥

That tree is absolutely stunning & just took my breath away. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful creations with us all. I am now planning to make some shabby faux patchwork hearts to tuck in some christmas cards for friends.
Kerryanne says
So glad you liked them Julie. I’ve tucked the hearts into cards before and they fit perfectly. You can also stamp the recipients name on the patch on the heart or make a stamped fabric ribbon for the hanger. Merry Christmas!
