A parcel arrived in the mail for me today from the lovely
Adla of Vintage Delights. 
Adla was my swap partner in the Handmade Ornament Swap I am hosting. Her parcel was so beautifully wrapped that I just sat and gazed at it for awhile – it looked too pretty to unwrap…….but then curiosity got the better of me!!

In the little silver parcel was a special gift for me. Adla mixes her own perfume oils and this is one she made especially for me – It smells divine and how pretty is that bottle.
The larger parcel contained her handmade ornament. It is the most gorgeous mixed media Christmas tree.
You have to look at it for awhile to take in all the individual aspects of this piece – there are so many pretty baubles, jewels, buttons, flowers etc.
I love the little bird on the top.
Adla even included a gift each for my girls Jessica and Aimee. Isn’t she just the sweetest?
Thank you Adla for making such a beautiful handmade ornament. I will always treasure it. It has taken pride of place in our upstairs shabby Christmas room. and it perfectly matches our pink and green theme.

How lovely is that tree, what a wonderful swap, it has been so much fun. I shall have to go and look and swoon at the photo gallery.
