Hi creative friends,
This week our Shabby Art Boutique ambassador, Lauren of Shabby Chic Sundae, has absolutely wowed us with a whole series of creative fall projects using the September Craft Room kit.
She’s shared not one, but five adorable projects… each one packed with charm, creativity, and clever inspiration for your own autumn crafting.
Easy Fall Paper Pumpkin
Lauren kicked off the week with a delightful paper pumpkin tutorial that is as simple to make as it is sweet.

This little decor piece is perfect for dressing up your fall table or mantle.

Teacher Appreciation Gift
Next, Lauren shared a thoughtful teacher’s gift she created for her son’s kindergarten teacher.
She typed out a pumpkin cookie recipe, packaged the dry ingredients, printed one of the journal pages onto fabric for the lid, and tied it up with lace and a premade cluster element as the tag.

A gift that’s as meaningful as it is beautiful!
Decoupaged Dollar Tree Pumpkins
On Saturday’s Craft & Chat with Nicola in the Craft Room Facebook group, Lauren demonstrated how to transform plain Dollar Tree ceramic pumpkins using the kit papers printed onto tissue.

With just a bit of decoupage magic, these simple pumpkins became extraordinary fall treasures.
It was such a fun and inspiring session! Just a heads-up for Craft Room members, Facebook now only keeps Live replays for 30 days, so if you missed it, pop into the group soon to catch the replay.
Fall Cottage Dollhouse Collaboration
One of the highlights of the week was a special collaboration with her dad, affectionately known as Mr Shabby.

He built the structure of a charming fall cottage dollhouse, while Lauren worked her shabby magic decorating it with layers of fussy cuts, autumnal tones, and even a whimsical pumpkin patch garden.

Monthly Memory Card
To wrap up her Fall at Bloom Cottage creations, Lauren added her September memory card project.

Each month in 2025, she and Nicola are creating a small card that represents the Craft Room kit for that month… a sweet and creative way to preserve memories of the collections we’ve enjoyed together.

What a week it has been! Lauren’s projects perfectly showcase the versatility of the September Craft Room kit, while also reminding us of the joy in mixing thoughtful gifts, seasonal décor, and creative play. Her work is always brimming with imagination and heart, and we’re so grateful for the inspiration she shares so generously with our community.
