Hi creative friends,
We’ve had such an exciting week at Shabby Art Boutique with the release of a brand-new Etsy collection: Ghost Tours.
Inspired by my recent travels through the UK, this kit captures the charm of gothic villages, centuries-old cemeteries, and their ghostly tales… with a shabby twist, of course!
Perfect for journals, scrapbooks, and Halloween décor, Ghost Tours brings a pastel-gothic vibe that’s both spooky and elegant.
You can read more about this digital collection on my Ghost Tours blog post here.

Ghost Tours Diorama
Well known for her fabulous 3D dioramas, Nicola has outdone herself with an amazing haunted street scene using the Ghost Tours kit.

She created a 3D ghost tours bus that cleverly holds a journal inside, along with a sign post, gravestones, and plenty of ghostly figures.
The scene is both whimsical and spookalicious… absolutely perfect for Halloween decorating.

Mini Fall Journal
In true upcycling style, Nicola flattened toilet paper tubes to form the pages of a darling mini fall journal.

She covered each page with the smallest journal papers from the Fall at Bloom Cottage collection and added tuck spots and pockets using coordinating fussy cuts.
Delicate snippets of lace finished it off in her signature shabby style.
Open Fall Journal
Over the weekend, Nicola joined Lauren on a Craft Room Facebook Live and transformed an old book into a stunning shabby open journal display piece.
After painting the open pages with white gesso, she layered pumpkins, flowers, and leaves from the Fall at Bloom Cottage fussy cuts to create a gorgeous autumn collage.

A sprinkling of tiny sequins provided the perfect sparkling touch. See more images of Nicola’s sweet project on Instagram.
Fall at Bloom Cottage Swatch
Nicola and Lauren are also working on monthly swatch cards to represent each Craft Room kit… a sweet way to preserve memories of the collections we enjoy together.

Nicola continually amazes us with the breadth of her creativity, from ingenious 3D dioramas to the smallest of journals.
Each project she shares is not only beautifully crafted but also deeply inspiring, and we are so grateful for her generosity in sharing her talents with both the Craft Room and Shabby Art Boutique communities.

Myry ~ File et Papiers
Myry delighted us this week with a gorgeous handmade greeting card that perfectly captures the coziness of autumn.
Using papers and fussy cuts from the kit, she layered fabric, lace flowers, and small embellishments to create a textural, shabby card in her signature style.

Every detail speaks of her love for layering and her ability to bring warmth and elegance into her projects.
Thank you, Myry, for inspiring us with your beautiful seasonal creation.
