I first started using a menu planner when I became a stay at home mum 22 years ago.
As a new mum, I needed less supermarket visits and more control over our weekly food budget, so at that time the weekly menu planner became essential.
And let’s be honest, it also appealed to my list making tendencies!!
Fast forward to my now empty nest and I still find a weekly menu planner helpful. It takes away that age old question… What will we have for dinner tonight?
Now that there is only the two of us, we don’t always stick to our planned menu, but I like it for planning ahead and organising my shopping list.
I designed this menu planner to match my vintage recipe cards.
You can download the printable Menu Planner HERE.
And I’m going to share a really useful tip with you….
I laminated my menu planner, so I can use a white board marker with it. Now each week I can wipe it off and reuse over and over again.
Alternatively, you can use this printed sheet to plan your weekly menu and then cut off the handy shopping list to take to the grocery store.

Did you download the free vintage recipe cards I shared with you HERE?
Once you write your recipes on the cards you can laminate them too. A simple wipe over with a damp cloth will remove any cooking messes and spills.
What’s on your menu this week?
Happy crafting

How lovely to have these matching – thank you so much.
I tend to be a bit hit & miss with my meal planning so hopefully this will help me be a bit more organised.

I love to plan, and list making is definitely on my ten favourite things to do each day. Thanks beautiful gal, love these. x
thanks so much!
I love this menu planner. My kids ask me daily … “What’s for dinner?” I’m having this laminated so they can just read it. Course, they will probably still ask me anyway. Do you think it might inspire them to help me make the dinner? I can dream 🙂
You never know Rheta. Maybe if they help plan the menu, they might also be excited about helping prepare the meals 🙂
