Hello shabbilicious friends!
Christmas is creeping closer and once Thanksgiving is over, it will be full throttle on the ‘silly season’.
So, now’s the time to make a few gifts…. today I’m sharing a project that I’ve shared a few times over the years and they are always incredibly popular.
Printable mini calendars make an ideal token gift; simply pop into a card or add to a small gift box.
They are even small enough to fit into your handbag/crafting bag or put a magnet on the back and hang on the fridge or your desktop.
This year I’ve continued the crafting theme and designed one that matches my large calendar from HERE. It’s free for you to download and print. Size: 9cm wide x 12 cm high.
How to Assemble Your 2020 Mini Calendar
1. Download the printable PDF, which is available in the newsletter subscribers free Member’s Library.
Not yet a member? That’s okay…. you can subscribe to my newsletter here and get instant access to the free printables.
2. Print page one (main graphic) on light card. I used 250 gram matte photo paper. Print pages 2 and 3 (calendar) on normal print paper.
3. I’ve outlined the calendar printables in grey. Cut the squares out just inside the grey line. Compile your calendar months in order and hold together firmly; I used a couple of clips to hold the calendar.
4. Using your sewing machine, stitch the pages together across the top of the calendar. Secure cotton ends at back of calendar.
5. Attach your calendar to your main board using either a hot glue gun or clear glue. The stitching across the top of the calendar will allow you to tear each month of as required.
Glue a magnet in place on the back of your calendar (optional).
Your mini calendar is now complete… wasn’t that quick and easy!
There are two printable main graphics on page one. You can either make two 2020 mini calendars, or as I’ve done, create a simple pin or needle keeper by stitching a piece of felt to the front of the second board.
Wouldn’t this be a sweet tag for a crafty friends gift.
What about that adorable shabby fabric Christmas tree ornament?
It’s still one of my favourite ornaments and there’s an easy tutorial for making it HERE.
Do you have a crafty friend you’d like to make a mini 2020 calendar for?
Perhaps you’d like one just for yourself.

Happy Christmas crafting my friends,
