Does anyone else feel like it’s a ho-hum kind of week?
Could it be ‘fire fatigue’?
Like most, I feel emotionally drained by the events of the past 10 days. Of course I am one of the lucky ones who has not been personally effected by the fires but my heart is breaking for those who have lost their loved ones, homes, businesses …everything! I wish there was more we could do.
I’m just plodding along this week with creativity but have finished one painting at least. This is one of my favourite teacups – it is so dainty and the perfect shade of pink.
I have just the thing to inspire me – my niece gave birth to twin boys today so I can start on 2 new baby projects tomorrow.
Hugs,
Kerryanne
Congratulations great aunt Kerryanne. How exciting, nothing like some inspiration to get the ball rolling again. I love your teacup.

Oh that really does look oh so pretty…
I am lucky enough to own two of your dainty teacup pictures and I adore them.
They make me feel happy just looking at them.
And twin boys eh?? Busy days…. Busy days ahead for your Niece…
But days like you never knew exisited and would never wish to be any different.
Kids are such a blessing!
Oh Kerryanne that is exactly how I fell, emotionally drained…but we must press on I suppose because we can, we are lucky to be able to do so but I still feel really guilty enjoying my day. Even when I put on make up i think that is another thing that some people have lost and how even though it seems such a small thing can make such a huge difference in how a person feels.
O..K… too deep I love your new painting…perfectly pink in every way!

I think my Mum has a teacup set very similar to the one you’ve painted – perfection!
Your neice has been twice blessed with 2 baby boys, looking forward to seeing what you create with these new inspirations in your life.
Ooooh, Kerryanne my sweet sweet chick, that’s GORGEOUS!!! Just lovely.
xoxo,
Connie
Congratulations to the new twins! Going to be lots of fun!

What a coincidence – a cup of rose tea you ask?? I was just watching The Wiggles with Riley and Dorothy was having Rose Tea!!
Twins – how exciting. My sisters twin ‘boys’ turned 30 last year.

Truly speechless….that rose painting shows the soft side of your heart…on how you are feeling now for those affected by the fires…
it’s wonderful.
Blessings,
Anne Marie
Hey Kerryanne! Hmmmm .. your blog just ate my comment!! I know how you feel (well how I feel!) with OD’ing on fire reports. I’ve stopped watching and decided to ‘DO’. Am making some quilt blocks that will be made into quilts of comfort for fire victims and made items to sell at a Bring & Buy we held at work yesterday – we raised $380 to add to the $3000 in donations that have come to the office as well! People are so generous, especially since most of the residents are on pensions! LOOOOOOVE your Rose Teacup!! The colours are so soothing and just GORGEOUS! Hmmm … with my latest pattern “Lavender Tea” we’re ready for a foral tea party! Tee! Hee! Hee! Bear hugs! KRIS
what a beautful & soo pretty roses teacup.. clever “girl”!!
Cannot wait to see what you come up with for the twins..how exciting!!
and Yes the fires seemed to have drained everyone..smoke over melbourne..no rain..dust & dirt everywhere..dams getting lower & lower..
I think you being creative can help overcome these draining issues..
xx andrea
