Hello creative friends,
Are you ready for another instalment of creative inspiration from our Design Team?
This week we are featuring projects from the Spring Fair Kit…. and this kit is proving to be very versatile, judging by the diversity of the projects we’ve already seen from the Design Team.
Design Team
Genevieve from Bella Stitchery has created these fun scrapbook layouts using the Spring Fair kit.
I love all of the layering and dimension Genevieve has achieved with these layouts.
I’m sure you’ll agree that they truly capture all the excitement of the fair.
Genevieve also shared a fabulous video on her YT channel on how to create flowers with baby wipes, which she used to decorate a Spring Fair card.

Elena Pavlova created two gorgeous projects this week.
This beautiful garland features the hot air balloons and graphic elements from the Spring Fair kit.
Elena has incorporated lots of layers, to produce a dimensional and colourful garland that would look amazing in a child’s bedroom or playroom.
Elena’s second project is a vintage spring fair booklet that is perfectly sized to fit inside of a junk journal.
It is double sided and uses both the papers and graphics from the Spring Fair kit on the 8 individual panels.
Jennifer from Crafting Sweetness used the blue and pink elements and sentiment banners from the kit to make these four beautiful handmade cards.
New Design Team Member
This week I’d like to introduce you to a new Design Team member ~ Nicola Mason.
Nicola is from the UK and for anyone who belongs to our Simply Shabbilicious Facebook group, you’ll recognise her from the many fabulous projects she already shares in the group. I’m delighted to have Nicola join our wonderful and creative Handmade Club Design Team.
You’ll find Nicola on YouTube at My Shabby Craft Corner, and on IG HERE .
This month Nicola has embraced the whimsy of the carousel at the fair and created her own paper version of the carousel that was in the kit. What an outstanding effort!
Her second project was a dimensional journal cover, that once again featured the Spring Fair carousel.
I love how Nicola has used many of the vintage and hand painted kit graphics to make this exciting pop-up card.
Imagine receiving this card and opening it up to reveal all the merriment of the fair!
Wishing you all a very Happy Easter!
Happy crafting my friends!

you have a truly talented Design Team! They are all truly delightful. The cards and the Carousel are most close to me and what I make. I was thinking of something similar myself but just don’t know where to start – except the Spring Fair papers of course. I hope that some day I will make something similar. Thank you for showing these beautiful makes.
best wishes
