Hello and thanks for popping in for a visit.
I’m sloshing around in my gumboots today. . . it’s been pretty wet here since the weekend. In fact, it has been very WET. . . that flooding kind of wet, but we’re quite safe and relatively dry where we are. There has been some road closures and evacuations here today and that rain, well, it just continues to tumble.
I was considering cancelling my class last night, expecting that no one was prepared to come out in the deluge. . . but come they did!
They’re a dedicated lot my ‘Tuesday girls’.
And as the pelting rain lashed against the window the girls were madly sewing. . .
hand sewing. . .
stuffing. . .
lots more stuffing. . .
2 new paintings got underway. . .
and a couple of things began to take shape.
We had a ‘hoot, hoot’ of a night [giggle].
In an attempt to stay dry today I’m back in my gumboots and doin’ the gumboot shuffle between the house and the studio. Is it just me or are these babies kind of hard to walk in?
Anyhoo, I’m in the studio today and keeping my hands busy with work on the new Christmas Collection. I’ve got a different Christmas theme this year. . . would anyone like to guess what it is?
Hugs ~ Kerryanne
the girls look like they had a lot of fun, maybe your xmas theme is shabby chic
I heard on Sunrise this morning about the rain at Port Macquarie. The first person I thought about was you. Good to see the crafting photos.

Hey Kerryanne! Glad to hear you’re only paddling around in gumboots, not cleaning up after a mini tornado like I saw on the news that hit north of you. Looks like you and the Tuesday Girls found the best way to enjoy rainy icky weather … I think this afternoon I shall follow your lead and curl up with some stitching. Shame I’m not close enough to come play in your studio with you … one day! :0) Stay dry and warm!! Bear Hugs! KRIS
That style of boot is not easy to walk in and not very feminine either (despite the fact you can get them in pink with pretty flowers on like my Mum’s LOL)
Oooo, what can your new Christmas theme be? Can’t wait to see. The Christmas planner pages last year were amazing and I’d love to make another.

have been worried about you so i am glad to hear that you are fine…
looks like a great night in your studio, wish i could zap myself there ~_~
i need to get myself a cuppa and a few spare minutes to catch up on the past few posts i have missed. i do love reading your blog it is very inspirational, one of my favourites i must say.
anyhow, stay warm and quack quack

When it rains here, which is about 80 to 90% of the time, I rarely enjoy myself like it seems you and the Tuesday girls did. It appears you all didn’t give a hoot about the weather. Glad to hear the studio didn’t get flooded. Have a good week.
så söt.
Ha en bra avslutning på veckan.

Hi Kerryanne,
Oh, lucky you didn’t cancel class.
All those busy hands are creating goreous pieces.
Thinking of you with all that rain you’re having.
Creative hugs,
Anna
Looks like a perfect place to be when the weather outside was so bad. my sister in Coffs is quite wet at the moment too. Yes, gumboots are intolerably hard to walk in, they always give me blisters.
mmm, Christmas collection…. maybe something with a beachy, shabby chic??
Lee:)
The gumboot shuffle, I like that! But you should try chasing cows and calves in the spring time, Lol!
Hope the sun comes out for you tomorrow!
