Hello ‘shabbilicious’ friends,
Today I’m sharing a fun little DIY project that will add a touch of fall gorgeousness to your decor in beautiful muted colours of mauve, French grey blue and sage green.
This pretty paper wreath is so super quick and easy, you’ll be able to whip it up in less than an hour.
How to make a paper fall leaf wreath
Materials
Fall leaf printable from Shabby Art Boutique,
Matte Photo Paper – 250 GSM,
Sharp scissors or craft knife,
Hot glue gun,
Wreath ring made of either cardboard or a plastic disposable plate (which is what I used).
The fall leaf printable is available in two sizes: A4 and Letter.
Download the A4 size HERE.

Instructions
1. Print the fall leaf printable on matte photo paper. I used 250 GSM so that the leaves were thick enough to hold their shape. For the wreath size I made, I required 4 printed sheets of leaves. Print the leaves, cut out with a knife or scissors and to add more shape, score a center vein in each leaf.
2. I made my wreath using a disposable plastic plate. Simple cut out the rim area (see image below) with a craft knife. I punched a hole in the rim and tied my ribbon on for hanging later. You could just tie the ribbon around the rim if you don’t have a hole punch.
3. Using a hot glue gun, adhere your larger leaves around the ring first and then fill in with a second row of the smaller leaves on top, making sure you overlap the leaves and fill in any gaps.
I really like the texture and dimension of the layered leaves and the muted colour palette is perfect for the fall season.
Thank you for PINNING this image.
Happy crafting my friends!!

Kerryanne… I love your paper wreath!! I have some scrap papers that would be very nice and in keeping with your flower and pink leaves. Thank you so much for the very lovely tutorial. Best wishes Linda @crafts a la mode
I hope you enjoy making your own fall paper wreath Linda.
Happy crafting,
Kerryanne
I cannot tell you how much I love this!! I love bright fall colors outside, but softer, more muted colors inside. This is perfect! Thank you so much!
So glad you like it Barbara. I know it is a tad different to the usual fall colour palette of orange and golden tones, but I’m finding the mauve/blue/grey colours to be quite soothing. Happy fall!!
