I don’t know about you, but already I feel the year slipping away from me. Here we are in the final week of February and the second month of the year has almost passed us by. Scary or what?
I made myself a promise to be more diligent with my blogging this year…. especially with so much going on in the studio. Alas, days and weeks pass by before I get the chance to update. Note to self: get more organised!!
Anyhoo, just so you know that I haven’t been wasting my days sunning myself down on the beach, here’s what I have been doing:
Do you see that newspaper article? 
Hmmm… who could that be? Well, yes of course that would be little ol’ me. I made it into today’s issue of the Port News with a story about my studio opening up here in Port. You can click on the picture to read the article. I also had some of my work appear in last Friday’s issue too.
I haven’t just been swanning around with reporters and photographers either. Do you remember my diva paintings from last year? Inspired of course by my very own diva – Princess Jess.
I think I managed to tick all boxes here. Your email requests for new projects included: mixed media, dolls, canvas and divas. I just combined all of these into this new collection.
With those pouty lips and wicked eyes, these dolls are definitely DIVAS.
Add your own positive sayings or quotes
And you have your own very personalised original projects.
If you want to make these Diva’s extra quick, use scrapbooking papers and embellishments to decorate.
This one design can be adapted to several different looks.
You’ll have more than one design to choose from, including my standing and hanging divas, Motherhood Angels and friends and sister duos.
And if these little beauties don’t appeal to you, don’t worry – I have many more projects almost completed in entirely different styles.
Thank you to all those who took the time to email and tell me what projects they wanted to see in my collection. Hopefully there is something for everyone.
