Hello creative friends,
Added 20th May , 2022
This sweet ‘Print & Make’ project was designed using the papers and elements from my Boutique Parisienne digital kit.
Mini Sewing & Mending Journal
Watch the flip through on YouTube and don’t forget to subscribe ♥
This sweet mini journal measures 5 1/4″ x 5 1/4″.
It comes as a print and make project with full step-by-step photographic instructions and graphics in a printable PDF file.
All of the pages are ready to simply, print, cut and fold.
The pockets are all included and have handy tabs to make it easy to fix them to the pages.
The six double sided pages are attached to a fixed spine and are all completely different.
You’ll find all of the measurements and required supplies are included in the detailed instructions.
Every double page spread includes a pocket, embellishments (buttons cards, spools and floss holders) to go in the pockets and a fabric swatch for holding pins, needles and safety pins.
One of the pages has a blank pocket for holding extra needfuls; in mine I included a pair of embroidery scissors, a needle threader and a paper tape measure, but you may use it for something different.
The last page has a pocket for cards and comes with fours different tags/cards in the printable.
To finish, I added seam binding ties to keep my mini journal closed.
As much as I love this journal for myself, I think it would make a fabulous gift for a friend or even for Mother’s Day.

What an adorable project. A small book to keep all your mending tools in one spot. Too sweet. I sort of laughed when I saw the page that held safety pins, remembering how many times I had mended a skirt hem or a saggy waistband with the huge safety pin instead of doing it the right way.
shhh. Don’t tell anybody.
Absolutely beautiful!
Such a happy project! You are right – sometimes the kits can be a bit overwhelming in their gloriousness, so a print-and-play project is a great starting point. Thanks so much!
What a pretty journal! Perfect spot for keeping needles
Thanks so much Alexandra. It’s just the right size to gift to someone special or keep tucked in your sewing basket.
