Hi creative friends,
Sometimes the sweetest creations are the ones we never planned.
This week, I was spending a quiet afternoon painting when I found myself with a little leftover paint on my palette.
Rather than put everything away, I began painting something that has made my heart smile for many years… bluebirds and roses.

If you grew up in the 1960s, there’s every chance you’ll remember the beloved Bluebirds of Happiness jewellery that seemed to find its way into so many homes and hearts. Those sweet little bluebirds have stayed with me ever since, and they inspired this collection of chubby bluebirds, soft pink roses, vintage labels, and gentle sentiments.
There’s often a story behind the things I create, and this one began with a childhood memory, a quiet afternoon in the studio, and a little leftover paint. Sometimes those unexpected creative moments turn into something worth sharing.
So today, I’m delighted to offer this Bluebirds & Roses printable as a free gift for my newsletter subscribers.
Whether you use the images in journals, cards, tags, scrapbooks, or simply tuck them away for a future project, I hope they bring a little happiness to your crafting.
