On Saturday I conducted my ‘Flower Girl’ mixed media canvas workshop.
It was a lovely group of ladies who came to play in the Woodberry Designs Craft Room.
With the exception of a short break for Devonshire tea, it was a hive of activity all afternoon.
Painting, printing, cutting, ripping and pasting. . . it was go, go, go alright, but I’m pleased to say everyone took home a completed canvas.
Even though all the participants, (except one) used the same materials, every canvas was different.
For this one below, the lady used her own papers and a different colour scheme. I love the vintage retro feel it has.
This is the canvas I made alongside the ladies in the workshop on Saturday. It too is different from the original one.
As I now have two of these, this one is available for purchase in my Handmade Treasures Shop over at Woodberry Designs
Also worth a mention. . . I’ve had several requests for a few older patterns, so have re-released two this week.
They are the ‘L’art du dessert Canvas’ and the ‘Diva Canvas’.
They will be available for a short time over on my Heart’n’Home pattern page.
All up, it was a busy weekend and just when I thought I had dodged the head cold my girls had last week, it hit me yesterday. So I’m taking it easy for the next few days. . . I’ll be plodding along in my studio doing a bit of sewing, painting and blog hopping. . . and hopefully keeping my germs to myself.
Hugs ~ Kerryanne

Wow, Wow, Wow Kerryanne! I absolutely adore this project… and so wish I lived closer to have been able to participate in class! I fondly remember how good your workshops are! When you are finished with workshops will you be releasing this project as a pattern? Just love it! Happy creating sweetie!
