Hi creative friends,
My ‘Linen, Lace & Paper’ kit has been very popular this past month and I think in part it is because of the versatility it offers to be used for multiple themes; spring, Easter and shabby.
Today, two of our fabulous Design Team members are back to share their beautiful journals made using this kit.
Each one is different to the other, but they are both filled with lots of ideas and inspiration for using the Linen, Lace & Paper elements and papers in a journal project.
Charmaine ~ Two Shabby Shoes
Charmaine’s journal is exquisite from cover to cover.
Her attention to detail is amazing… from the beautiful lace she covered the journal in, to the self covered buttons and hand embroidered silk ribbon roses.
While the cover of the journal is quite elaborate, Charmaine has purposely kept the inside pages simpler, but there is still something new to discover on every page…. from pretty tuck spots to hidden envelopes and places to journal and store ephemera.

Thank you Charmaine, this project is stunning ♥
Jennifer ~ Crafting Sweetness
Jennifer also used the Linen, Lace & Paper kit and the free mini kit to create this delightful, tall and skinny waterfall journal.
Each layer is edged in beautiful vintage laces… with each new layer peeking out from behind the previous layer.
Throughout this waterfall journal there are many gorgeous pockets and hidden paperclips to hold all of the ephemera…. journal cards, postcards, tag, mini notebooks and samplers.
I love that in amongst these pretty pages, there are still many blank pages that can be used for writing and photos.

Jennifer also created several more memorydex cards, which she shares in the video.
Each card is a like a little work of art!

Thank you Jennifer… as always, your projects are lovely ♥

Charmaine and Jennifer both used my Linen, Lace & Paper kit for these projects.
This kit is multi faceted, so that you may use it for spring, Easter or general shabby crafting. It also coordinates with many of my other shabby kits.
