Hi creative friends.
This week has been filled with old world charm with gorgeous Victorian themed projects from our design team members, with Nicola from My Shabby Craft Corner and Dianne from Shabby Reflections showcase our new ‘Elegant Victorian Christmas’ kit.
Nicola ~ My Shabby Craft Corner
Nicola has brought a touch of Victorian charm to the holiday season by crafting a beautiful set of Victorian bon-bons (crackers).
Craft Room members were treated to an exclusive video tutorial where Nicola generously shared her creative process, turning these bon-bons into miniature works of art.
The attention to detail, the pastel pink and soft burgundy, and the romantic Victorian images truly make these bon-bons a festive masterpiece.
But the excitement doesn’t end there! Nicola is set to take her craft to a live audience this Saturday in her Facebook group, ‘Shabby Journals, Crafts and More.’
Join the community and witness firsthand as Nicola recreates these Victorian bon-bons, sharing tips, tricks, and spreading the joy of crafting in the holiday season.
For her next enchanting project, Nicola embraced the depth and charm of a layered MDF shadow box frame.
Using the exquisite papers and fussy cut elements from the ‘Elegant Victorian Christmas’ kit, she brought to life a Victorian Christmas scene featuring none other than St. Nicholas himself.
The layers within the shadow box add a captivating three-dimensional effect, turning this project into a miniature festive masterpiece.
Nicola’s creativity didn’t stop there. She took a tiny thrifted lantern, painted it in a crisp white hue, and filled it with sweet fussy cut elements from the kit.
The result? An adorable lantern ornament that promises to add a touch of Victorian charm to her Christmas tree.
Thank you for sharing your amazing creativity with us this week, Nicola ♥

Dianne ~ Shabby Reflections
Taking inspiration from Nicola’s tutorial, Dianne from Shabby Reflections embarked on her own creative journey, crafting a set of stunning Victorian bon-bons.
Dianne’s interpretation showcases her unique style while staying true to the elegance of the ‘Elegant Victorian Christmas’.
Using the ‘Elegant Victorian Christmas’ kit, Dianne crafted a layered collaged picture within a white ornate frame.
The focal point of this masterpiece is a gorgeous fireside scene featuring St. Nicholas.
Dianne’s artistic flair shines through as she builds up multiple layers within the frame, creating texture and dimension that brings the scene to life.
The addition of faux flowers and a dusting of shimmering glitter elevates this piece to the heights of Victorian beauty, making it a captivating addition to any holiday display.
