Last week I added a hint of soft pastel colour to my kitchen dresser…
And a few small Easter touches that enhance my décor…
Rather than screaming ‘seasonal’ change.
There’s been a pair of thrifted baby boots floating around in my treasure box for awhile.
I saw them there when I was searching for my Easter nests and eggs…
And knew I had to some how incorporate at least one of them in my décor.
This couldn’t be simpler…
A nest of shredded vintage book paper tucked inside the boot… a few tiny speckled eggs… and a couple of paper flowers.
It’s sweet and pretty and adds texture to my vignette.
I love my all shades of white decor…
But wanted to change it up a bit for Easter with just a ‘hint’ of colour.
Here’s a tip for adding quick and easy colour to your vignettes…
I covered 3 old books with pretty coordinating scrapbook papers.
They not only add colour, but also boost height.
Would you believe, I’ve already moved this vignette to another shelf unit and made something else to go in my Easter dresser!
I’ll share that project and tutorial tomorrow.
